PADI Advanced Open Water Course

Overview

This course is designed to take you deeper into your diving adventures, up to 30 meters deep! The Advanced Open Water course is made up of five adventure dives, Deep and Navigation dives are mandatory and for the remaining three you have the choice between many other choices like Wreck Dive, Drift Dive, Boat Dive just to mention a few. Advanced Open Water course could be used to fine-tune your skills to suit your future dive interests and sites.

Certification Requirements:

1. Complete five Adventure Dives including Deep and Underwater Navigation.
2. Complete the five Knowledge Reviews for the completed Adventure Dives.
3. Complete Thinking Like a Diver Knowledge Development section.

Depth:

1. For divers age 15 or older — 30 meters/100 feet
2. For rebreather use, maximum depth is the depth for which divers are qualified with the rebreather or 18 meters/60 feet, whichever is shallower.

Diver Prerequisites:

1. Certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water Diverز

Note: 10- and 11-year-old divers may only earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification.
