Open Water Dive Course

Overview

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the best way to introduce you to the fundamentals of safe and professional diving. The course consists of both theory and practical aspects. The theoretical knowledge will be covered using the PADI course manual and DVD. All the practical skills and training will be done in the water off our boats in Hurghada. Once you complete the Open Water course you will receive your globally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification. This globally recognized course provides you with all the skills and knowledge you need to safely and confidently dive up to a depth of 18 meters.

Certification Requirements:

1. Complete five knowledge development segments, including quizzes and the final exam.
2. Complete Confined Water Dives 1-5.
3. Meet water skills assessment requirements.
4. Complete Open Water Dives 1-4.

Depth:

1. Confined Water Dives 1-5 — 5 meters/15 feet.
2. Open Water Dives 1 and 2 — 12 meters/40 feet.
3. Meet water skills assessment requirements.
4. Open Water Dives 3 and 4 — 18 meters/60 feet. Diver Prerequisites
5. Minimum age to participate is 10 years old.

Note: 10- to 14-year-old divers earn a Junior Open Water Diver certification.
