CMAS One Star Diver

Overview

CMAS one-star scuba diver is the entry-level diving certification for recreational scuba diving issued by the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). The training programme enables divers to undertake accompanied no-decompression dives to a maximum depth of 20 meters in open water.

Certification Requirements:

1. Complete knowledge development segments, including quizzes and the final exam.
2. Complete Two Confined Water Dives.
3. Meet water skills assessment requirements.
4. Complete Open Water Dives 1-4.

Depth:

1. Confined Water Dives 1-5 — 5 meters/15 feet.
2. Open Water Dives 1 and 2 — 12 meters/40 feet.
3. Open Water Dives 3 and 4 — 18 meters/60 feet
4. Minimum age to participate is 14 years old.
